Beach Maternity Session | Jenna | Polly Bloom Photography

This family will be welcoming a baby boy into the world around Christmas and I am thrilled for them. There is so much love between the three of them and it is obviously clear that this is already one incredibly loved little boy. The beach was beautiful the evening of our session and the sky seemed to have put on a show at sunset, I think big brother’s favorite part was being able to play in the water… his clothes! I mean what kid wouldn’t love that!?

I am super excited to have the privilege to capture and document this journey for them. They will be parents of one becoming parents of two, a sweet little boy gaining the pride and responsibility of being a big brother, and best of all, this incredibly sweet family being blessed with more joy and love. I can’t wait to meet their little prince and continue to watch this family grow!

This is their thing and I absolutely LOVE it!

I kid you not, this image on the right was NOT planned. He was either over being bit by the mosquitoes or truly wasn’t cool with the kissing, either way it was perfect timing!

A little pull back on the right of what goes on during sessions with toddlers!

Can you see the love I’m talking about!?

Newborn Session | Caleb | Polly Bloom Photography

Oh sweet baby Caleb, how snuggly and sweet you are! It was such a pleasure photographing him, he was a dream off in dream land pretty much his entire session. He showed up to his session ready to play, he was wide away kicking away so we wasted no time and made sure to get some shots with his eyes open and good thing we did because as soon as he ate he was sound asleep the rest of the session {which is what we like for those squishy newborn poses}.

Lifestyle Anniversary Session | Chelsea & Nick | Cape Coral Photographer

“#MillerTime” was the hashtag for this couple’s wedding last October and for their one year anniversary they decided to do an “at home with the Millers” lifestyle session and man, this session was definitely one for the books! I had an absolute BLAST getting to know them while capturing their moments in their home just doing what they do. Nick and Chelsea are a fun, kind, happy, funny couple and you could just feel their love for one another surrounding the two of them and filling up their newly bought home. So naturally, this session was filled with fun, snuggles, laughs, jokes & flour. Yup, flour, Chelsea told me the next day she still had it in her hair!

This session tells a story, it tells their story that they can share with one another and their family & friends now and for years to come. It’s a story documenting not only them in their new home for their first wedding anniversary but their love for one another and the fun they have just being together and that right there is so special.

2015-10-22_0002 2015-10-22_0001

The session wouldn’t have been complete without this guy. And his bow ties, I couldn’t handle the cuteness!

2015-10-22_0004 2015-10-22_0005 2015-10-22_0007

I couldn’t get over how adorable these two were together, this may be one of my favorites!

The “M” was made for them and displayed at their wedding.

And here is why Chelsea still had flour in her hair 24 hours after the session and Nick probably still has it in his ear. This. was. SO much fun!

It’s obvious these two were destine to be together and I wish nothing but the best for the two of them in their bright future together. Nick & Chelsea, Happy Anniversary!

Holiday Mini Sessions | 2015 | Polly Bloom Photography

The holidays are right around the corner, and what better way to kick off the season than with some photos for cards, sharing or gifts!? This year’s cozy & warm Holiday Mini Sessions are by far my favorite and I’m offering two locations with the option of weekday evenings for anyone not able to make the weekend dates.

The first mini session date will be on November 8th at Koreshan State Park, the second date will be December 5th at a location in the North West Cape Coral Area and if you are unable to make those dates, I do have availability during the weekday evenings between November 2nd & December 12th at the NW Cape location.

Sessions are $125 this year and you will get a 20 minute session and get to choose 5 digital images from your gallery to download with a print release, you will also have the option to purchase additional images if you choose to do so. A $25 retainer is due with a signed contact at the time of booking, the retainer does go toward the final mini session price.

To book your session you can contact me here!

Last night I grabbed my kiddos and went to try a spot in Cape Coral that I’ve had my eye on for some time now and I’m in love with the way it worked, I thought I would share some!

Cake Smash: Bella Rose | Ft. Myers Photographer | Polly Bloom Photography

Oh Miss Bella and your super cuteness, I just can’t handle it!

I have known and been friends with this beauty’s momma since high school and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to share such a fun and happy time for this family. We sang, we danced, the birthday girl enjoyed smashing her cake between her fingers and the during the suds part of our session, she danced so hard she toppled out of the tub, the tub could not handle her awesome moves {don’t worry, she was 100% okay}. Oh, and we got poured on by the torrential Florida downpour, that was oddly freezing, but the laughs and fun that came out of us huddled under the trees trying to keep as dry as possible were totally worth it!

Bella has SO much personality already and her dance moves can’t be beat! What a magical session this was, I can’t wait to deliver their full gallery!

He loooves Mickey and the outfit and letters mom brought along were adorable and so fitting for his birthday session.

Hunter’s Newborn Session | Cape Coral Newborn Photographer |

Here he is! Remember back in June that beautiful momma in a field? If not, you can check out her sneak peeks on my Facebook page herehere and here.

Mr. Hunter was born on September 4th and I am absolutely thrilled for this family, it’s obvious he is loved to the moon and back and I’m so happy to have had the pleasure of documenting this family’s journey since the day they found out the third baby and baby sibling of two sweet girls was going to be a boy. This little guy made me work during his session, I’m pretty sure he peed on everyone in the room but oh. my. goodness he was just so snuggly and precious and his yawns, ohhh my how adorable they were (btw, I love the baby yawns) and the session turned out just perfect!

His two older sisters joined us for the morning and they are so gentle and sweet with him and absolutely adore him! I LOVE sibling portraits and I feel like it’s so important to have.

Just like sibling images, I feel like parent & newborn portraits are just as important and special.

Details, details, details. They are only this small one day because tomorrow they will be another day older and would have grown even if it was the smallest amount. Capture these moments, capture their tiny little toes, their hands, their tiny little lashes and their peach fuzzed cheeks.

The fox, I just can’t handle the adorableness. It’s perfect since this is the theme of his nursery & was the theme of his baby shower.

Olivia’s Birthday Session | Cake Smash | SWFL

I would like to start off by saying Happy Birthday to this sweetie! This birthday session was nothing less than perfection, she wasted no time digging into her cake and the wash up in the tub afterward was a hit for sure! I met this adorable and sweet family a little over a year ago for their maternity session, it was a hot and muggy evening that we still talk about but that didn’t stop their session from being fun and beautiful. A couple months later I had the pleasure of photographing their sweet new bundle of joy, who is now a year old, time sure does fly. I hope she is having a wonderful birthday, I love watching this family grow and it’s always such a pleasure capturing all their special moments. It is very clear how much love there is between and around them.

She wasted NO time digging into her cake, and she was not going to share either but she did have a second to tell us know how “good” it was!

A tub filled with bubbles…..instant fun!

I absolutely love having the opportunities to get to know and “work” with this family! Happy Birthday Olivia!

Onnah’s Birthday Session | Cake Smash

Is she really turning ONE already? Back in March I did this cutie’s 6 month session, you can see her sneak peeks here and here and last week I had the absolute pleasure of photographing her just shy of a year old!  To say this sweet girl loved her cake and her entire session is an understatement, I think the pictures show for themselves how excited she is to be turning one {not sure her momma is as excited about her baby growing up so fast}. Her name, Onnahalih Grace, means “morning grace” and that sure rings true to who she is. She is smiley, happy, cuddly, funny, sweet, sassy and full of joy. Her and her family are so near and dear to my heart, I am so glad to have the opportunity to photograph her as she grows.

The cake and tutu were homemade by her mom and I even got to help decorating the cake!

It’s fun to be ONE….obviously!

CAKE! She thoroughly enjoyed it and loved having it ALL to herself.

And how could we NOT wash up in a tub of bubbles after all that!?
